Whistler Water One Climb

This summer, the colour blue is the colour of hope. On Saturday, June 22nd, Whistler Water is launching One Climb with Grouse Mountain and Free The Children. One Climb will bring a group of inspired youth, community members and business leaders together from Vancouver, BC and surrounding areas to challenge themselves to flood the Grouse Grind in an effort to help those in need.

Everyone hiking to the top of Grouse Mountain as a collective will raise awareness and funds for Free The Children’s clean water projects in Kenya, with a goal of bringing clean water to 100,000 people.

One person can make a difference. Each and every one of you that signs up for One Climb will be positively impacting the lives of others. Did you know that even by raising $25 you will be providing clean water for another person…for their entire life?

Guess who’s a huge supporter and will be coming to One Climb to speak? Spencer West! Spencer is a self-proclaimed “shameless idealist” who is redefining what is possible every day with his tremendous accomplishments and inspiring speeches. Spencer talks about overcoming stereotyping and bullying, about finding meaning and happiness in a material world and how he never lost the hope or courage needed to surmount personal obstacles despite losing his legs at age five.
