As Executive Director of Free The Children since 2010, Scott Baker has played an integral role in the growth and success of Free The Children as one of the world’s leading youth-driven charities.

Scott joined the team in 2004 as Director of Me to We Leadership Programming, helping to inspire and motivate thousands of youth across Canada to take action in their local communities. As one of the organization’s first facilitators, Scott provided invaluable leadership to various programs and campaigns and has played an important role in turning strategy into action.

In 2007 Scott spearheaded the development of Free The Children’s Ecuador programming in the Chimborazo province. Scott’s passion for sustainable development through partnership with local communities helped him lead an incredible team in Ecuador for four years as the Country Director.

Brothers Craig and Marc Kielburger are social entrepreneurs, New York Times best-selling authors and captivating speakers, inspiring millions to improve their communities and the world through daily actions.
Craig and Marc are co-founders of a family of organizations leading social change: Free The Children, an international charity; Me to We, an innovative social enterprise; and We Day, a year-long educational initiative that culminates in a signature youth empowerment event.

They have shared the stage with Nobel Peace laureates, heads of state, celebrities, rock bands, actors and pop icons, including former President Bill Clinton, former Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev, Archbishop Desmond Tutu and Sir Richard Branson.
