Every day from our headquarters in Toronto, to our regional offices in Vancouver, Montreal, Palo Alto, California, and London, UK, our young staff pushes the envelope of what is possible for a charitable organization. Some of us work in offices, and others hit the road to share stories and raise awareness on the front lines.

We run domestic empowerment programs and leadership training in schools and communities, inspiring young people to become socially conscious global citizens. We create life-changing We Days - attended by tens of thousands - in Toronto, Vancouver and Montreal. So far we have reached more than one million young people through our programs in North America alone. But we also help young people to become agents of change for their peers around the world - whether in Kenya, Ecuador, India, China and Haiti. Together, we have already built more than 650 schools worldwide.

Started by 12-year-old Craig Kielburger and a group of his classmates in 1995, Free The Children now employees 400. Most are recent graduates. Our average age is 24.

That said, all salaries of Me to We employees in North America are in line with either Imagine Canada's study of compensation in the charitable sector, or Charity Navigator in the United States.
