KEY PARTNERS

Oprah's Angel Network Founded in 1998, Oprah's Angel Network is dedicated to inspiring people to make a difference in the lives of others. Oprah's Angel Network has helped Free the Children build and outfit 59 schools in 12 countries. In 2007, Free The Children and Oprah's Angel Network launched O Ambassadors, a joint project reaching schools in the United States and Canada.

National Bank Financial National Bank Financial is one of the top six investment dealers in Canada and the undisputed leader in Quebec. National Bank Financial's multi-year partnership with Free The Children is part of their vision of empowering young Canadians to engage in their communities. The nation-wide initiative includes speaking tours, leadership events, awards programs and special support for bilingual programming in Quebec.

The Toronto Star is Canada's largest daily newspaper, with the largest readership in the country. By donating weekly space for the “Global Voices” column, as well as providing sponsorship for the National Me to We Day event, the newspaper is helping to engage young Canadians in leadership and community involvement.

Nokia Nokia is the world leader in mobile communications. Free the Children and Nokia have partnered to create Directors of Change, a unique initiative that combines youth-made documentary films with educator resource guides to bring social issues and technology to the classroom. The program will reach 200 secondary schools across Canada over a 3-year period.

World Medical Relief World Medical Relief impacts the well-being of the medically impoverished on a local, national, and international basis. World Medical Relief has helped Free The Children purchase and distribute over $11 million worth of medical supplies, equipment and medicines to communities in 15 developing countries.
