Set your children up for success by helping them join—or start—a Free The Children group at their school.

Carry your child’s social change involvement into the classroom. Contact your child’s school and ask them how s/he can get involved in the Free The Children group. If the school doesn’t yet have an established Free The Children group, speak to the principal or educator in charge of extracurricular activities about starting one up.

Free The Children has created a variety of resources to make this as easy as possible for educators. Highlights include:

• Our library of resources: an online hub of lesson plans for students of all ages and for a vareity of subjects.
• Our annual campaigns: these campaigns run throughout the year, each one with a unique focus. From local hunger or Canadian Aboriginal issues to lack of clean water supply and child exploitation, each campaign will raise awareness for an important issue. Learn more about our campaigns here.
• Global Voices: This unique educational program gives educators the opportunity to inspire their students to change the world through issues-based activities and discussion.
