Keeping our promises, to ourselves and the world!
Happy New Year Change Makers!
As we welcome in 2008 it’s the perfect time to think about all the amazing things we’d like to accomplish during the New Year.
Similar to our personal resolutions, the leaders of the global community came together in 2000 to create the Millennium Development Goals – a list of goals aimed at alleviating global poverty and ensuring the progress of the less fortunate in our world.
In celebration of all the amazing possibilities a New Year brings and to recognize the crucial promises made to the developing world, the January newsletter is dedicated to the Millennium Development Goals.
Check out this month’s articles for more information on the Millennium Development Goals, hear from Craig at the Millennium Summit and learn about fun ways you can get involved to make a difference in the world.
This New Year when creating your list of resolutions, think about the enormous potential you have to take action and incite positive change.
