Congratulations on all of your successes this year! From Canada, to the Netherlands to the United States, to Japan, a movement of youth has been creating massive social change. Working together this year, we have provided thousands of children overseas with an education,alternative sources of income, clean water and much more. Thank you so much for all of your work – you are truly changing the world.

And just wait until you see what we have in store for you next year! The Youth Team will be working all summer to create exciting new ways to connect with other Free The Children groups around the world, and much more. June 12th is celebrated as the World Day Against Child Labour, a day to spread awareness about child labour and take action to stop it. This June 12th is a bit brighter for many children around the world, as the International Labour Organization has recently reported that the number of child labourers in the world has fallen from 246 million to 218 million. This significant progress in the fight against child labour is in part due to your incredible actions providing alternative income to families and providing children with an education.
