We are all connected: Open your hearts during the Year of We

Kick-Starting Your Year of We

Welcome Change-Makers!
It’s your Year of We! National Me to We Day launched the Year of We, a year to learn and take action on local and global issues. It’s an opportunity to prove that young people can make a difference and that change truly is possible.

The Year of We is your chance to live the Me to We philosophy: improving your life and your world, by reaching out to others. It involves focusing less on me and more on we our communities, our nation, our world.

Show the world that you’re a part of the movement—take action. It’s that simple! Be sure to check out Free The Children’s resources, creative campaigns and global network of young people taking action. If you’re still not convinced, consider this: you could win a trip to volunteer overseas with a community in need, but only if you sign up and get started!

Check out the articles in this newsletter for exciting highlights from National Me to We Day, resources and tools to help you with your Year of We initiatives and stories to get you thinking.

During the Year of We, be the change you wish to see in the world.
