Youth in Action Group Updates

Free The Children South Africa
Talk about active! The Free The Children-South Africa Youth in Action Group has been so active that it's hard to even count the huge amount of Rands (South African currency) they have raised and the quanity of goods donated for a host of extremely important local and international projects. From raising money through donation jars at parties to collecting much-needed supplies, Free The Children South Africa has raised nearly the equivalent of $10,000 CAD.
Additionally, the Youth in Action group has held many awareness raising events, such as a play written by youth to educate other youth on important social issues, and an art challenge for local kids aimed at encouraging social and environmental responsibility. We wish Free The Children South Africa the best of luck as they continue their amazing and important work.
