A celebration of solidarity!
Hey there world leaders,
Here at Free The Children, we firmly believe that we are the first generation that has the means and the will to put an end to absolute poverty around the world. This past academic year, the Free The Children team has witnessed thousands of incredible acts done by youth across North America and beyond to make this world a better place for all. We think that’s a great cause for celebration—and it seems the world agrees with us!
Each year on August 12th, the global community comes together to recognize the contribution of young people on International Youth Day. Free The Children celebrates the actions of young people every day, but we wanted this newsletter issue to particularly celebrate some of the incredible ways that youth are making a difference. In this issue you can learn more about this international celebration of youth and find out some fantastic ways that you can get involved and take action.
Celebrating you today,
The Youth Team
