Join the relief effort through Free The Children’s “ Change for China” campaign:
- Hold a coin drive and raise money toward Free The Children’s relief efforts in China. Collect pennies, quarters, loonies and more.
- Raise the most money by May 30 and a Free The Children motivational youth speaker will visit your school to share stories of inspiration.
Help is urgently needed in China’s Sichuan province, where a massive earthquake has left more than 19,000 dead and an estimated 25,000 still buried under debris. Thousands more have been left homeless and without the basic necessities, like food and clean water, they need to survive.
Although Free The Children’s mandate is to empower communities through long-term sustainable development, we are well positioned to provide immediate aid to those in most need because of our work stationed in neighbouring Gansu province.
