Global Voices is an exciting classroom-based program aimed at developing global citizens! This unique educational program gives educators the opportunity to inspire their students to change the world through issues-based activities and discussion.

Bring this program to your students by signing up to receive free elementary and secondary school classroom activities that are prepared in advance by a team of educational consultants. All activities contain a variety of questions aimed at sparking global issues discussions in your classroom and enhancing the media literacy and critical thinking skills of your students.

Youth are encouraged to share their unique perspectives by writing social justice newspaper articles as part of the Junior Journalism team. Students who sign up are given the opportunity to enhance their writing skills by learning the fundamentals of reporting and covering news stories from their point of view. Junior Journalists get their stories published, along with Craig and Marc’s column, each week at www.thestar.com/news/globalvoices
