Youth in Action Summit.

Be part of a movement of young people who are changing the world! The Youth In Action Summit is designed for youth like you to connect with other outstanding leaders for a day of learning and inspiration—it is sure to build on your accomplishments as a change-maker.

We want you to be a part of this fantastic day on February 20th! By registering to participate in the Summit, you will take the first step towards being recognized as a Free The Children Ambassador—a leader among youth leaders. Please be sure to apply by February 1st!

What to expect in this year’s Youth In Action Summit

At the Youth In Action Summit, we will connect leaders like you with others who share similar interests. You will have the chance to participate in interactive and informative workshops, and brainstorm ways you can create social change in your community. There will also be an opportunity to hear inspirational speeches from Louise Kent and Michel Chikwanine, among other special guests.

The theme of this year’s Summit is social movements, and you can expect to leave the event with a new understanding of how past social movements—from the civil rights movement of the 1950s and 60s, to the women’s rights movement, to the green movement—play a role in the We movement that Free The Children represents. At the end of the day, you will leave the Summit with new resources and knowledge to take back to your school and inspire others to join us in expanding our own social movement!
