What to expect in this year’s Youth In Action Summit

At our Youth In Action Summit, we will connect leaders like you with others who share similar interests. You will have the chance to participate in interactive and informative workshops, and brainstorm ways you can create social change in your community. There will also be an opportunity to hear inspirational words from special guest speakers.

The theme of this year's Summit is social movements, and you can expect to leave the event with a new understanding of how past social movements—from the civil rights movement of the 1950s and 60s, to the women's rights movement, to the green movement—play a role in today's youth movement of which Free The Children is a huge part! At the end of the day, you will have new resources and knowledge to take back to your school or community to inspire others to join us in expanding our own social movement across California!
