On March 31st, 2012, join youth in cities across North America by taking part in Free The Children's annual youth event. We are looking for youth aged 8 to 20 to join an amazing movement of young people at a day of inspiration and empowerment.
Registration for the Toronto Youth Summit is now closed. Thank you for your interest.
Youth leading global change is the movement of our time. The power of one starts at the 2012 Youth Summit where the message, “It Starts With One...” allows you to explore the concepts of activism and social movements.
Youth Summit assists young people aged 8 to 20 with taking the necessary steps towards becoming a leader and a Free The Children ambassador. We want you to be a part of this fantastic day!
Through a series of brand new, interactive workshops and activities, you will be inspired to create social change in your local and global communities. At the Youth Summit, student leaders and global change-makers have the chance to connect and share their experiences and interests. You will also have the opportunity to hear inspirational speeches and personal stories from amazing Free The Children and Me to We speakers.
At the end of the Youth Summit, you will be equipped with new resources and knowledge as well as clear action plans to take back to your school and community. Best of all, you will be ready to inspire others to join you in being the change!
