At the Youth Summit, connect with young leaders like you who share a passion for world issues and creating positive social change. Through a series of brand new, interactive workshops and activities, you will get ideas for bringing change to your local and global communities. You will have the chance to hear inspirational speeches and personal stories from Free The Children speakers. And you will come away with amazing new friendships, connections and memories to inspire you on your path to changing the world.
Young people leading global change is the movement of our time. The theme of this year’s Youth Summit is “It Starts With One...” – which refers to the power of individuals to affect positive change at a local and global level. Through a day of workshops and inspirational speeches you will explore ideas of activism and social movements. At the end of the Youth Summit, you will be equipped with new resources and knowledge, as well as clear action plans to take back to your school and community. Best of all, you will be ready to inspire others to join you in being the change!
